Near the close of the 19th century,a tobacco company included a premium with their cigarettes, they issued a set of trading cards introducing the Generals of the Civil War, both sides. One card came free in each pack of cigarettes. Only U.S. flags are depicted, and some Confederate generals are shown with the stars and stripes...having read all of the introductions...it appeared the Confederates did not have very much experienced leadership...great share...thanks
