When I was a kid in the 1940s , my dad took me to see Clyde Beatty on stage, at the Brooklyn Paramount. It was a bit scarry. The circular cage that he worked in had wheels, so that there was a space at the bottom. They rolled it out, and Clyde went in. Then they released the big Cats. It was great! I never knew a day would come when I could own all the Serials he made. I never cared for the color movie from the 1950s that he was in. The 'B' movies were the Best. I'm 85 now, and still just a kid. And I realize, that my Dad was too. Every Saturday Morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM I am allowed to be myself over the airwaves, when I ride the Radio Range as 'Yodeling Dick,' on my show "The Old Country Record Shop," where I spin very old records and pick and sing a bit, over WWOVFM.COM ('So long' for now-I'll see you on the Radio) P.S. When it comes to Comics, I still think the Golden Age is the best. Many thanks to the wonderful Folks who have gone to all the trouble to bring us "Comics Plus."
