I stumbled across the cover for this on Heritage Auctions' site when I was looking for more scans of Gulf Funny Weekly. The HA listing naturally got me curious so I went to Archive.org and lo and behold there was
the scan made of the Harvard University copy. So little converting from pdf and a wee bit of sharpening later, voila!

I actually had not known of the existence of these 1905 "rare bits" before last night.

My son is a fan of the 1994 comic series Roarin' Rick's Rare Bit Fiends  and I get him issues I find in back-issue bins. we knew the title was in reference to something, but had never checked into it.
