A rousing story that screeches to a halt to play "Mark Trail." I'm all for local color but they could have worked some plot in between the lectures.

I just don't get why the story ends like that and we are given a travelog. I doubt the Daily Mirror was trying to encourage emigration to Canada. The next story follows on immediately after Ryan and Zola get covered in snow in Banff.  Did Mr. Freeman run out of story ideas for a bit?
