Pony stories – not really my favourite genre to be honest – but this one was competently told with all the usual elements for a schoolgirls story viz: good chums, a bad egg, an outsider, a secret never to be told, a trial to be overcome and a happy ending with just rewards for all those concerned.

Lovely stuff
