I've merged my ifc and fc into Darwination's upload and put it back on the FTP (under his name as he should really get credit for this). 

It's ready for prime time.

Also uploaded are Fightin' Marines #8 (ctc one on site is missing cf) and Weird Horrors #8 both St John.

Just a word of explanation.  I have Comcast, which by and large I've been happy with.  About two weeks ago something happened and my upload speed plummeted to about 4kB/s  (It should be at least ten times that).  I've been testing the modem and router and have Comcast coming to test teh line.

At random times it comes back in full force.  I have a huge backlog of scans to post, but I've been using my rare opportunities to upload to post to ABPC.  I know those are picked up by the pusher that puts them out to various hubs and I know people grab them from there and FTP them here.

I think that's currently the best use of my limited upload time, and I have no problem with people uploading nay here that are eligible.  I hope to be back to FTP here in the near future.

Fairy Tale Parade #5 soon, but I must admit I've been scanning more some comics I can't post.

P.S.  Narfstar, I replied to your PM.  I have the relevant page with teh writer of Supersnipe someone was looking for.

I look forward to seeing the first of the JVJ books as well; perhaps when he gets back in November I will have caught up on my own scanning and convinced myself that I'm comfortable scanning somebody else's books.  For now I'll just thank everybody working on the project for what they're doing.

Update : Jon, it seems the book is missing page 22 (by the original page numbers); and has two page 23's.

Spy Hunters ACG #4-8 are uploading now.  The rest of the series will follow shortly.  I've already got the missing scans from another scanner except for the three issues from JVJ.  I scanned those today, and fellow scanner Snard has graciously volunteered to edit them.  In the past I've generally edited my own scans, but I hope to finish up Jim's books as quickly as possible so I'm glad of the help.

you do NOT have to rush on my behalf. I sent you the books before I left of vacation BECAUSE there wouldn't be any need to hurry. You have SIX WEEKS + before I would even want you to return them. No pressure on speed from me AT ALL. I get a sense of urgency that seems misguided to me. Please relax and scan them at your leisure.  I insist.

Jim,

You graciously sent me 65 books.  If I did 3 a week it would take me half a year to finish them.  I don't want that.  I'd like to do it in a few months.  I doubt even with help I'll finish before your back.  Believe me I won't kill myself doing these.  As several people here know I've had 6 operations in the past 14 months -- minor except for the first to be sure --- but there are days when I can do little more than sit here.  Scanning helps pass the time.

Spy Hunters 3-17 are now in FTP or will be shortly.  #16 is  JVJ book scanned by me and edited by Snard.  The rest are scans by another friend.  The remaining books will follow shortly.  Note the series continues from Spy & Counter Spy.
