Thank you for the time and effort...

To the Admin'z and everyone else who made this place available...

Thank you.

The effort of scanning and posting public domain comics is an effort that I admire.

My personal favorite on this site is AIRBOY and since I read a few random issues, I was hooked on finding all of them (my personal holey grey-all)... ahem...

What is other users favorite(s) on this site?

Sincerely,

George Peter Gatsis

I've discovered to have a certain affiliation with the sci-fi genre
The recent postings of WeirdTales of the Future about knocked me out.

Cheers

For myself, any of the sci-fi gene and then any of the "off-beat" (got to love those books), one-shot and short (1 to 6) issue runs seem to be first on my list as very good to read through. They are well done from both the writing and artistic view point.
Enjoy your stay here and welcome aboard.

I'm into the superhero stuff.  I discovered this place researching the characters of Project Superpowers, so those are the stories I like to read - Black Terror, Daredevil, etc.  I was thrilled to find Dynamic Comics #1 with the Origin of Dynamic Man.  Thanks to all the contributors who are making this stuff available to the general public.

My favorite books are generally by creator, not genre.  I love the material by Kelly, Mayer, Baker, Wolverton, and Ditko, just to get started.

It's also fun seeing obscure stuff I would never normally have run into.

I lean more toward writer than artist. Most GA writers are not listed even when artists are. I believe Wolverton wrote a lot of his humor stuff. I enjoy good art but prefer a good story and love when the two come together.

Well, several of the artists I listed are known for writing their own material; Kelly and Mayer in particular drew very little material for other writers in their careers.  And Ditko is known for providing his own stories even if he has somebody else do the actual dialog.   (Not that it's suitable for this site, but I just finished my collection of the Ditko Question stories last week.  Fascinating stuff.)
