Thanks to Jim Thorpe for posting this great compilation!
The man in the red jumpsuit on the cover of the August 1928 Amazing is often misidentified as Buck Rogers. Though Rogers did indeed first appear in this issue, the wonderful Frank R. Paul cover illustration is of E. E. Smith's The Skylark of Space, and the flying guy is Richard Ballinger Seaton.
