This has a an origin of 'Flyman' Illustrated by a very young Sam Glantzman before he had evolved his distinctive style and before his military service. It does demonstrate his genius for action scenes tho.
There is no explanation for why he calls himself Flyman, no insect connection that I can see. Kirby and Simon created the Fly in 1959 for Red Circle. When they revived the Old MLJ characters they changed the name to Fly-man. Never heard of this version. The Fly character is considered to be inspiration for Spiderman by those who believe that character was Kirby's inspiration The knife he throws in this story would put Crocodile Dundee to shame.
The Clown story is well Illustrated and different in that the Character, while fighting crime and using props to do it, is at pains to point out that he actually is a real clown. Which he isn't.
'Magician From Baghdad' is a well illustrated Aladdin mashup.
'Rurik Against the Vikings' has what I believe are obvious 'Prince Valiant' swipes. A good effort.
The title page has the signature of
Frank Frollo, but he is not credited in the information below.

A definite little Gem of a book.
