I, too, like the late art deco style of the artwork, and the use of color, the fanciful quality of the whole design. Retro futures are usually much more interesting than any contemporary vision the future. And, oh, yes, the "good girl art." Women of the future certainly don't over dress, at least according to the comic books of this era :).
