Enjoying reading this. The strip used to run in our newspaper, back when there was a full comic section. Looking at it now, I can't help thinking that "Kelly," the political cartoonist for The Onion, must have looked at a lot of these strips at some point, and I never made the connection before. Ward Sutton (the real Kelly) may even have come from my area.

But I do have to point out that page 27 is just page 26 over again, and I never found out what happened to Priscilla's Pop on his fishing trip. (Cue the hysterical voice of some guy in a movie: "YOU MADE ME CARE!")

I wonder if I have this comic somewhere. The cover looks familiar, but that's not really proof of anything.
