'it looks like he drew the story in five minutes' Unfortunately all of his work looked like this. GCD haven't yet identified all of the artists, but we have Don Perlin ( signed) and Pat Masulli (signed). The 'Bluebird' story brings back memories. I remember his bringing the car out to Australia to race on one of the dry salt lakes in South Australia. There is an article on the Vauxhall Victor and its engine, strange choice for a american comic. Two pages on the Ford Edsel, written obviously just after the Edsel had been released, ironic as the Edsel was a lemon (not mechanically - nobody wanted to buy one) and an economic disaster for Ford. All round an interesting comic and a cut above Charlton's usual standard.

The Vauxhall Victor was sold in N. America by Pontiac dealers in USA, as Vauxhall was part of GM. In Canada it was sold by Chevrolet/Oldsmobile dealers where it was called Envoy.
I don't know a lot about cars but I love hot rod music, particularly The Rip Chords.  Look for them on Spotify.
