the artwork on this is amazing.It's by J Miller-Watt better known as the creator of 'Pop" Thanks Paw.
I remember Pop fondly, but his style thee is nothing like the work he has done here and for other issues of this series.
As the two examples on Lambiak demonstrate, he was an amazing visionary stylist and could do amazing things in only a few panels.
Is 'Pop' something that could be uploaded on CB+ I wonder?

I think Pop appeared in some A. Soloway publications in the UK comics section, although it been awhile since I read those books so I may be misremembering.

The strip in the Soloway comics is titled, "Poor Old Pop" and signed "JRJ"  It's in Comic Adventures vol. 3 and All Fun vol. 3. I don't think it's the same artist, but I'm pretty bad at art i/d.
However, probably worth noting again that these Soloway titles include some lovely Nat Brand work, really daft but fun Alan Fraser strips and some Denis Gifford half pagers.
