Hi,
I am not sure which one of the Perfect crime I tried to download from this path : Home > Small Press and Unsorted Files > Cross Publications (I think it was "Perfect Crime 027") but an error occurred saying that the id is not matching and if I am requesting this file from within the site I should contact the admin. The time of the error was around 02:00 AM server time at June 01, 2010 as I can see it in the upper right corner of this page. The result is that I couldn't download anything because of this error but the allowed downloads were decreased and cannot download anything else. Can you please check the issue.

Hello Dani.

Of course you could not downloading -- seeing as you had just signed up and your bandwidth was not set up by any of the moderators at the time (I supposed we were all asleep in bed) -- I realize people might think we are being snarky, but the News bar that states "Please read the Golden Age Comics Help section before posting for help!" is a key item for new members who encounter the issue you did. Because you did not pursue the Help Section as suggested, you erroneously thought that the file was a bad upload and reported such.

The Help Section contains information that actually helps and explains things for our new members. Staff cannot be onsite 24/7, so at times new members cannot instantly access their bandwidth -- we counsel patience, a reading of the Help Section, and your understanding and support.

You are now set up to begin downloading. Let us know if you need any further assistance.

I DO read the help in which I found exactly my problem with the exact answer. The following is just copy-paste:

"Question 00 - "I can't download from GAC.  What is a 'session ID' error?"
Anyone can usually download from GAC, member or not BUT - If you keep getting this error:

Answer - This is a 'time-out' error.  It seems if you REFRESH the page (press F5) and then QUICKLY try the download link again it usually will work.  You might have to repeat it a few times though."

Where in this answer is said that the problem is that I am a new comer? I tried what is stated in the answer with no success. So I did what is written in the message : "please report it to the admin" but the admin is telling me that I did not kept the procedure. I was just trying to help this, based on my opinion, good site.

I apologize that you feel put upon. In that section the thread "HELP!!! I JUST SIGNED UP AND CAN'T DOWNLOAD!!!" exactly fitted your situation, that is why it was created and titled so. We do try to make this as easy as possible -- there is a lot of planned changed coming and we have factored in the issue you experienced because others experienced it also, hence the threads such as "HELP!!! I JUST SIGNED UP AND CAN'T DOWNLOAD!!!" which have worked out quite well for the overwhelming majority of new members.
