Is there a tab or way to see a list of the most recent posts in the event you leave the site once logging on before seeing all the messages using the  'Show unread posts since last visit' function?

Yes, just look right below your name at the top of the page "Hello rez", ("Show unread posts since last visit" also "Show new replies to your posts").

Thanks Geo, but once you leave via computer shutdown or forced to leave for some reason

when one returns to the site those message listings will be removed even tho' they were never visited.
