I don't see a Chan movie happening. True, it would be nice finally to see an Asian/Pacific Islander in the title role, but the character just has too much 1920s baggage, like his fortune-cookie dialogue.

Let's face it the fortune cookie dialog is one of the main appeals and what helps to set the character apart. He would not be Chan without it.
