What a great book! The Splash Panel by Sam Decker [Louis S. Glanzman - Sam's Brother] is superb.
His art on the Amazing Man story is reminiscent of Lou Fine.
Basil Wolverton!
The Blue Lady. Changes from a Blue Dress to a blue playsuit ( in the street) no mask or facial disguise) and says, 'Ill go in as the Blue Lady and they'll never suspect me!' And is she wearing a bluebird on her head?
The whole story reads like a Monty Python piece.
Hilarious!
Then we have "The King of Darkness' Eat your heart out Batman. You are only the Dark Knight!
And then we have NIGHTSHADE.
[Was there even one original name in the Silver Age?] And what does this guy do?
Scares the @&%$# out of people with real shadows.
Interestingly, some of the basic ideas here had real potential, never realized.
Thanks to the poster!
cheers!
