You said it, dwilt: weird! The comic has the feel of being tossed together from stuff left lying around the office. What's with the jolly copper narrating the first story? You'd at least expect him to look grim.

The crime stories might actually have been based on real events. Neither has a storyline per se, and the first one isn't even solved. Or maybe they're just lousy stories. "I'm looking for a tattooed sailor!" Not too many of those around, are there?
