I almost missed this next lot, having forgotten to check Tebeos de factura hispana for some days. So when I looked today, there they were, #s 1 - 27 of the masked mystery man, El Encapuchado and the link was about to expire. More importantly, we got them and they are now available here:-

This hooded crimefighter appeared in 1946, drawn by Adriano Blasco and featured in a run of landscape comics. He also starred in a series of very popular "pulps" in Spain.

Since you are in the UK, you have much better access to certain British series than I. I would love to see the Fleetwood line of comic, especially the THRILLER series before they began BATTLER BRITTIAN and the alternating war heroes series. I'd love those that did adaptations of great books. I do remember one I read that was titled THE THREE MUSKETEERS but actually adapted THE MAN IN THE IRON MASK.

As I wrote to one of our other members recently, scans of these pocket libraries are like hens teeth. The books are a nightmare to scan without destroying the originals and the few we have, or that are available, are all from copies that are literally in tatters. The originals are expensive and not many collectors want to dismantle valuable collectibles for scanning. As you know, because of the bad staples which always are rusty, putting an issue back together needs new staples and therefore it's not original anymore and the value drops. A real rarity this time. I was looking through old files and came up with a pile of photocopies from years ago of a great Edgar Wallace newspaper strip adaptation. I've tried to tidy the pages and bits and pieces up and put them in a readable order. So, from 1937, here's Terror Keep, featuring the amazing Mr. J. G. Reeder of the Public Prosecutors office bringing the mad John Flack to justice. Art by Jack Monk, who is a favourite of mine as he drew the Buck Ryan strip. Hope you enjoy it.

From photocopies of a story from Swift Morgan Spaceways comic, the SW story, The Beast From Outer space. Art by Denis McLoughlin. I had to make a cover using bits and pieces from the internet. If anyone can improve the cover, please have a go.

Yes, I saw that cover but it's not a Spaceways Comic cover. Actually, what I meant was, could anyone get rid of the gap between the top image and the bottom image on my not very good paste-up, or otherwise improve the layout, 'cos I'm not very professional with this stuff

The cover I used listed 2 stories with some extraneous stuff about the 2nd story, which I don't have and can't find, so I chopped it up and used the bits that referred to the Swift Morgan story. for me, that was pretty good

An oddity today. A French language version of Cap. Marvel Jr, from the Belgian magazine, Bravo, 1950, with art by Uderzo. As I have noted in the comments, I have no idea where this file came from, so, if anyone can shed any light on it, I will change the attribution. Well worth a look and I hope you enjoy it.
