Thank you Fra. I stumbled on Volton when I was researching material for the Cats piece in Sequential and read a lot of Catman comics. I love these old, more obscure superheroes.

Volton is a pretty interesting character, the first work of Joe Kubert if I'm not mistaken.

The next character will be a Harvey one, I'll upload the compilation soon, I still have to finish the cover.

Yes, I found it pretty interesting too to introduce his origins only in his last appearance as a flashback.

Hi everyone!
I just uploaded a new compilation about Dr. Occult, the DC Comics character. It will include all of his public domain appearances, which are the totality of his Golden Age appearances. In fact, after More Fun Comics #32, the character will appear only nearly 40 years later in All-Star Squadron #49, (unsurprisingly) written by Roy Thomas, the Golden Age Fan with capital "F"

Hi everyone!
I just uploaded a new compilation featuring Dr. Nemesis, published by Ace. This character is a pretty interesting one, because after he fell into the public domain, Roy Thomas decided to use him as a villain in his Invaders (1993) series. He was the main villain of that story arc, and used the name "Dr. Death". After those issues, he was brought back again in an X-Men comic and he's now a recurring X-Men character, under his original name "Dr. Nemesis".

The Red Bee, believe it or not, was brought back several times in post 70's DC continuity.

Thanks very much, FraBig, for uploading all these Golden Age Compilations. I like the very professional front covers you've made for them, too. I'm sure many other members here, who enjoy superhero stories a lot more than I do, also appreciate having them here on CB+. It's really nice having ALL of the stories containing each character in one place, where we can track their development and do research on them all in one location, rather than having to remember in which titles they appeared, an in which order, and then go search them down.

Thanks Robb! I'm really happy you appreciate my compilations! I always try to make the cover so that it represents in the best way the content of the compilation, but always using panels and splash pages from the interiors of the issues.
I started doing these mostly because the ones which are already present on the site have been a really useful tool for me to do research about Golden Age superheroes.

Yes, Panther, I think he was brought back by Roy Thomas in his All-Star Squadron series. Oddly enough, he's had a little bit of popularity among Quality characters in the DC universe, despite his limited number of appearances during the Golden Age.

I find serendipity in comic creation fascinating.
Here we have a character called Grey Mask.
Over in the Australian section we have a character called 'Grey Domino' , although we only have 3 out of apparently #51 copies.
Domino as some of you probably know is the standard style for a mask!
